Our Story

Little Legends Events began in 2015 when two primary school teachers, Sarah Johnson and Michael Chen, recognized a gap in the Brisbane children's entertainment market. After organizing several successful school events, they realized their unique approach to creating immersive, educational experiences could bring joy to children beyond the classroom.

Starting with just a handful of themed birthday party packages, Sarah and Michael operated from Sarah's garage in Paddington, gradually building a reputation for events that went beyond typical children's entertainment. Their educational backgrounds informed their approach, ensuring activities were not just fun but developmentally appropriate and enriching.

As word spread, Little Legends quickly outgrew the garage. In 2017, they moved into their first commercial space and brought on Emma Williams, an event coordinator with a background in theater production. Emma's expertise in logistics and creative direction helped scale the business while maintaining the personal touch that had become their hallmark.

By 2019, Little Legends had expanded its offerings to include school celebrations, holiday workshops, and community festivals. Our team grew to include specialized performers, workshop facilitators, and event assistants, each bringing unique talents to our creative collective.

Today, Little Legends operates from our "Imagination Headquarters" in Brisbane, where we design, create, and rehearse the magical experiences that have delighted over 50,000 children across Queensland. What began as two teachers with a vision has grown into Brisbane's premier children's entertainment company, yet we remain true to our original mission: creating joyful, imaginative experiences that honor the magic of childhood.

What ages do you cater to?

Our specialized programs cater to children from 2 to 12 years old. We carefully design age-appropriate experiences with different packages tailored for toddlers (2-3), preschoolers (4-5), early primary (6-8), and older children (9-12). For each age group, we adjust our activities, performance styles, and entertainment duration to match their developmental stage and attention spans.

How far in advance should I book?

For birthday parties and smaller events, we recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially for weekend dates which tend to fill quickly. For larger events such as school celebrations or community festivals, 2-3 months notice is preferable to ensure availability and allow adequate planning time. During peak seasons (December and school holidays), earlier bookings are advisable.

Do you travel outside Brisbane?

Yes, we regularly service the entire Brisbane metropolitan area and can travel to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba regions for an additional travel fee. For locations beyond these areas, please contact us to discuss possibilities. We've even coordinated special destination events at resort locations throughout Queensland for clients with specific venue requirements.

What's included in your party packages?

Our standard party packages include themed entertainment with 1-2 character performers, interactive games and activities, themed music, basic decorations, and small take-home surprises for guests. Premium packages add options such as face painting, balloon twisting, themed craft activities, enhanced decorations, and personalized invitations. We can also add professional photography, custom cake designs, and venue decoration as extras.

How do you ensure safety at your events?

Safety is our top priority. All team members have current Working with Children Checks and first aid certification. We carry public liability insurance, conduct thorough risk assessments for activities and venues, and maintain strict protocols for equipment safety and food allergies. For workshops involving special materials or activities, we provide appropriate safety equipment and ensure proper supervision ratios based on children's ages.
